Dr. Martin Dolezal is a Senior Fellow at Institut für Höhere Studien.
He joined the IHS in March 2018.
Since August 2015, PI of the project “The Austrian Protest Arena in the 21st Century” (funded by the FWF); since October 2018 Senior Scientist at the Department of Political Science/University of Salzburg where he is engaged in the EU Horizon 2020-project “Populism and Civic Engagement (PaCE).”
From 2009-2015, Assistant Professor at the Department of Government/University of Vienna and a researcher for the Austrian National Election Study (AUTNES).
From 2005-2009, Post-Doc Researcher at the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute of Political Science (LMU).
Before that, he was Post-Doc Researcher at the Chair for Political Science/Technical University of Munich (TUM).
He studied political science and history at the University of Vienna; in 2011, he received his habilitation (political science) from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (LMU).
