Rifkin is Founding Partner at North River Capital LLC (Indiana).
He co-founded North River Capital in July 2008.
Until 2008, Mr. Rifkin had been Executive Vice President of Non-Ferrous for OmniSource Corporation.
The privately held firm was one of the largest scrap metal companies in North America.
Over 23 years, he was instrumental in the development and growth of OmniSource’s wire chopping and recycling business segment, which grew to be the largest single processor in North America.
He served on the board of Compass Environmental, a Chicago based environmental remediation and land development firm, until its sale in November 2007.
Born in Fort Wayne in 1960, Mr. Rifkin graduated Magna Cum Laude with a business degree from Boston University in 1982 and graduated J.D.
Cum Laude from Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, DC, in 1985.
