Mr. Matthew C.
Slaney, CFA MBA, is President at FinArc Investments, Inc. He currently oversees the firm’s strategic direction, investment decisions, operations and compliance, sales efforts, and client relationships.
He joined the predecessor of FinArc Investments in 1999 and became president and sole owner of the company in November 2012.
With more than 20 years as an investment professional, he understands the important role a trusted financial advisor plays and he deeply values each client relationship.
In addition to overseeing the firm and chairing the FinArc advisory board, he also manages client portfolios and analyzes equity and fixed income securities, covering a broad selection of industries.
Mr. Slaney was previously employed as President & Portfolio Manager by FinArc LLC.
Prior to joining FinArc, he was a municipal bond research associate for Colonial Management Associates.
Mr. Slaney earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Northeastern University's honors program and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and passed the Series 65 exam administered by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
He is a member of CFA Institute, The Boston Security Analysts Society, the Exit Planning Exchange and Boston College Club.
