Matthew W. Sampson

Prior to joining TFG in 1999, Mr. Sampson served as a Forest Management Analyst for Westvaco Corporation’s Appalachian Forest Operations.
In addition, Mr. Sampson served as a Cooperative Forest Management Forester at Westvaco where he directed forest management regimes for non-industrial private landowners.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an associate forester with a leading consulting forestry firm.
Mr. Sampson received a B.S.
in Industrial Forest Operations and an M.B.A.
from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
He is a member of the Society of American Foresters.
