Doug Smeaton has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Semiconductor Insights, Inc. since 1992.
He is a Director of SiGe Semiconductor, Inc. Previously, Mr. Smeaton was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Mitel Semiconductor, Chairman for the Division of the Industrial and Applied Physics of the Canadian Association of Physicists and a Founding Director of the Strategic Microelectronics Corp.
He received a PhD in Solid State Physics from the University of British Columbia, an MS in Solid State Physics from Simon Fraser University and a BS from the University of Alberta.
