Michael Mastronikolas

Prior to joining MicroVest Capital Management in 2010, Mr. Mastronikolas held assignments in Germany including work for Bankhaus Ellwanger & Geiger’s property stock fund analyzing equity investments, managing data and conducting macroeconomic forecasts.
While working as a freelance business editor, he published several articles and surveys covering a wide range of topics such as the mechanics of the European Monetary Union and the European Central Bank, macroeconomic impact analyses and country profiles.
He also conducted a production site analysis for Invest in Germany a project contracted by the German Office for Foreign Trade assessing the country as an appropriate location for foreign direct investments in the biotech sector.
Before moving to the US, he worked for SEE Real Estate AG as a Finance Consultant preparing the upcoming IPO of the company.
Mr. Mastronikolas holds the equivalent of a BA and MA in Economics from Justus-Liebig-University of Giessen, Germany.
He is a native speaker in German and Greek and is fluent in English.
