Michael V. Walrod

Mike was most recently a Partner of Keen Partners, Inc., which he founded in 1986.
During his sixteen-year tenure as part of the firm's highly successful private equity business, Mike had principal responsibility for 16 investments, which had a total transaction value of $14.5 million.
Fourteen of the investments have been either fully or partially realized and have generated gains of $45.0 million or a multiple of 4.0X invested capital and a gross IRR exceeding 200%.
Additionally Mike co-developed the proprietary Legacy Private Offering product and first employed it in 1986 in a series of recapitalizations of closely held companies seeking to resolve growth capital and / or succession and liquidity issues.
Mike holds a B.S from the University of Colorado at Boulder, CO and was awarded a graduate fellowship to read at Cambridge University, Emmanuel College, in Cambridge, England.
He received his M.B.A.
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC.
