Michelle McCulloch

Ms. Michelle McCulloch is an Industry Lead Analyst at Sustainalytics (Toronto).
She is also an Associate Director at Sustainalytics, she manages a team of research analysts focused on analyzing the environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance of companies in the energy and extractive sectors.
Prior to this, she managed indicator research and oversaw the respective analyst team in Toronto.
As part of her work, she evaluated and reported on the key ESG indicators impacting companies within Sustainalytics’ research universe.
Before joining Sustainalytics, she worked at TD Bank as Senior Manager of TD Environment where she was responsible for environmental risk management.
Ms. McCulloch managed the implementation of the bank’s environmental management system as well as external stakeholder relations and reporting pertaining to environmental management.
Prior to this, she was a Director at Innovest, a sustainability research firm.
Her principle focus was the engagement and development of global strategic partnerships and initiatives with large financial institutions, fund managers and specific niche players.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from York University.
