Before joining Convergent, he spent ten years in private practice advising family offices and families of significant wealth and complexity.
He previously was a partner at the law firm of Kozusko Lahey Harris, LLP, in Washington, DC, focusing on domestic and international tax matters and trusts and estates law.
Mr. Padgett earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from Cornell University and a Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University, where he was a member of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law.
He also holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 65 and the Certified Investment Management Analyst, CIMA, designation.
