Oh-Joon Kwon is currently the Vice Chairman of the World Steel Association since 2017.
He was previously the President & CEO of POSCO Holdings Inc. in 2014.
He also served as the Chairman of the World Steel Association from 2011 to 2014.
Prior to that, he was the CEO of the Research Institute of Industrial Science & Technology.
He is a member of The National Academy of Engineering of Korea.
Dr. Kwon holds a doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, a graduate degree from the University of Windsor, and an undergraduate degree from Seoul National University.
