Peter John Langas

Mr. Peter J.
Langas, CFA MBA, is a Chief Portfolio Strategist at Bessemer Investment Management LLC.
In this role, he is responsible for developing policies on asset allocation, customized portfolio strategies, and implementation.
He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee, Investment Policy and Strategy Committee, Investment Committees for Alternative Investments, and is Chair of the Investment Risk Committee.
Prior to joining Bessemer, he was a senior portfolio manager at Bernstein Global Wealth Management, where he was a member of the firm’s Private Client Investment Policy Group.
Before that, he was a portfolio manager with The Chicago Trust Company, Vestor Capital, and Morgan Stanley.
He earned an M.B.A.
in finance from the University of Chicago and a B.S.
in engineering from Cornell University.
He is a CFA charter holder.
