Phil Patman

Mr. Patman joined Darby in December 2007 as a Principal.
Prior to joining Darby, he was the Director of Business Development for Globeleq Inc., an investment vehicle wholly owned by CDC Group plc and having a primary focus on power sector projects in the emerging markets.
Mr. Patman's territory spanned all of Asia, where he analyzed, structured and managed portfolio investments, acquisitions, and greenfield opportunities.
Most recently, he had a key role in the sale of the firm's Asian portfolio.
Before Globeleq, he consulted for Marathon Oil Company on commercial and project finance issues relating to natural gas and LNG; prior to that, Mr. Patman was General Manager, Business Development at Enron Corp., where he focused on Asian energy infrastructure investments.
In addition, he practiced law for four years in the energy sector.
He continues to be a licensed attorney in the state of Texas.
Mr. Patman holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin (Plan II), and a Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center.
