Mr. Placido Albanese is Head of Investement Center at Valartis Asset Management SA.
Previously he was the Chief Investment Officer of Liechtensteinische landesbank Schweiz from 2008 to 2013 where he sucessfully setup and headed a quantitative asset management department as well as and advisory investment center.
From 1994 to 2008, he held various positions at Finter Bank Zürich (fund manager, head of securities trading) and was a member of the Investment strategy Committee and the Alternative Asset Strategy Committe.
Prior to joining Finter Bank Zürich, he worked as an equity trader at Banca Commerciale italiana Zürich, Handelsbank natwest Zürich and UBS.
Mr. Albanese is a graduate from the Business School of Weinfelden, Switzerland.
