Rebecca H. Garner

Ms. Garner attended Louisiana Polytechnic University, Southern Methodist University, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
She is the fixed income portfolio manager for Garrison Asset Management.
Her investment experience began in 1967 and includes the management of both taxable and tax exempt fixed income portfolios, equity securities and tax-free municipal bonds.
Prior to joining Llama Asset Management Company, LP in 1994, (the predecessor to Garner Asset Management Company, LP) she managed all fixed income assets of Monarch Capital Corporation, a Fortune 500 insurance holding company with assets totaling approximately $1 billion and from 1991 to 1994 was the president of her own investment management firm.
As a mutual fund portfolio manager with Monarch Capital Corporation, she has managed commingled accounts, mutual funds and separate accounts.
Ms. Garner has written articles for leading financial publications including The American Association of Individual Investors Journal and has appeared as a guest lecturer at the Harvard Business School.
Ms. Garner was named one of "The Top 100 Women in Arkansas" by Arkansas Business magazine.
In 2000 she received the prestigious Athena Award, given for professional excellence and community service, from the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce.
She is a member of the Rotary Club of Fayetteville.
