Robert H. Ackmann

In addition to working with Signature Capital, Mr. Ackmann is currently CEO and a director for Acoustic Technologies, Inc. and Corporate Secretary for the Maryland based VIRxSYS Corporation.
He also serves as a director for Quickfilter Technologies.
From 1991 to 1999, Mr. Ackmann was CFO and then COO of Power Trends, Inc., the market leader in developing and manufacturing on-board plug-in power modules to the world's top electronic OEM companies.
In late 1999, Power Trends was sold to Texas Instruments, after which.
He continued at TI/Power Trends as General Manager until joining Signature Capital LLC in 2001.
From 1986 to 1991, he was CFO, and then COO, for SmartScan, Inc., a start-up company in Boulder, CO specializing in digital mapping software and services.
From 1979 to 1986, he was with Hewlett Packard at several Colorado divisions, having risen to the IC Division Financial Manager.
Mr. Ackmann earned a B.S.
in electrical engineering from The University of Illinois in 1977 and a Masters in Management with honors from Northwestern UniversityÕs Kellogg School of Management in 1979.
He splits his time between Scottsdale, AZ and Barrington, Illinois with his wife Jan and three children.
