Sherman Chen

Mr Sherman Chen joined CLSA Capital Partners in October 2005, primarily responsible for evaluation of the property opportunities and assisting in the transactions including acquisition and disposal in Greater China and Singapore.
He is also responsible for asset management by closely monitoring of real estate investments in China and Singapore.
Prior to joining CLSA, Mr Chen spent four years as a financial analyst and project manager at Jin Wen Investment Management, a real estate development and asset management firm in Shanghai.
Responsibility in his role included financial modeling, budgeting and analysis.
In addition, he worked closely with the firm’s development team to control the planning, design, construction and project management for the projects involving physical alterations and the expansion of new sites.
Mr Chen also worked as a financial and economic analyst in a tier-one real estate development company in Shanghai—Shanghai Golden Bound (Group) before he joined Jin Wen.
Mr Chen holds a Master Degree in Finance from London Business School, UK and B.A.
Degree of Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, China.
He speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
