Mr. Terrance P.
McGuire is a Portfolio Manager & Partner at Ridgewood Investments LLC.
He heads up the Dividend Strategies Group and has main responsibilities for the dividend related investment strategies.
Mr. McGuire has had a passion for dividend growth stocks for most of his investing career and joined Ridgewood specifically to focus on building Dividend Strategies Group.
In addition to his Ridgewood responsibilities, he also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Boston Athenaeum.
Prior to joining Ridgewood, he was a Senior Vice President at The Capital Group Companies, Inc. where he served as a Portfolio Counselor.
In addition to his Portfolio Counselor responsibilities, Mr. McGuire had previously covered several industries as an Analyst at Capital, including cruise lines, gaming, hotels, semiconductor capital equipment, semiconductors and test & measurement companies.
He also worked as a Lawyer at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP in Boston.
Mr. McGuire holds a BA in Economics and Rhetoric, with honors from the University of California at Berkeley in 1991, earned his JD from Harvard Law School in 1994 and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar that same year (now since retired).
He also received his MBA, with distinction, from Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration in 1998.
He received first and second year honors at Harvard Business School as well as a Distinguished Teaching Award for his work with undergraduates at Harvard University.
