Umberto Alvisi

Mr. Umberto Alvisi is a Co-Chief Investment Officer & Head of Quantitative Investments at Millennium Global Investments Ltd.
He joined the firm in 2014 and has held senior risk and portfolio management positions during his time at the firm.
He is Co-Chief Investment Officer with primary responsibility for managing systematic investment strategies and the quantitative investment team.
Mr. Alvisi has over 15 year's experience in global currency markets and previously worked at Citadel as senior strategist, where he was responsible for currency market trade ideas generation and for macro-fundamental & quantitative analysis.
Prior to this, he was a Director in the global foreign exchange group at Credit Suisse where he worked extensively on econometric models of foreign exchange determination and the development of alpha-generating strategies in FX.
He graduated from Bocconi University in Milan and holds an MSc in economics from the London School of Economics.
