C&C Energia Ltd. operates as an investment holding company with interest in oil resources. The company through its subsidiary Grupo C&C Energia (Barbados) Ltd., is engages in the exploration for, and the acquisition, development and production of oil resources in Colombia. It operates its oil production, holds interest in eight blocks in Colombia. The company holds interests in Cravoviejo, Cachicamo, Pajaro Pinto, Llanos 19, Coati, Andaquies, Putumayo 8 and Morpho blocks. C&C Energia was founded by Russell Jackson, Norman John MacKenzie and Tomas Villamil on February 28, 2010 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.

C&C Energy Canada Ltd. holds six exploration and development blocks in three proven hydrocarbon basins in Colombia totaling 400,000 net hectares. C&C management believes that these basins hold a total of ~80 million barrels of recoverable oil and that production of 4,000 boe per day is possible by late 2010. As compared to the Western Canadian sedimentary basin, Colombia has many potentially prolific areas which remain underdeveloped. In addition, Colombia has a favorable fiscal regime and has recently reelected a pro-business government that is committed to cultivating investment in the petroleum industry.
