Roger Haughton is a Vice President of Mortgage Insurance Companies of America.
He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Social Compact, a Trustee at the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Member of the Policy Advisory Board for the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics at the University of California, Berkeley and the School of Real Estate at the University of San Diego.
Most recently, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The PMI Group, Inc. Mr. Haughton was appointed Chairman of PMI Mortgage Insurance Co. in May 1998 and President and Chief Executive Officer in January 1993.
Prior to joining The PMI Group in 1985, he held various positions at Allstate Insurance Co. Previously, he was President of Mortgage Insurance Companies of America and a Director of Habitat for Humanity International and the National Council of La Raza.
He received a BA degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
