Watuthanthrige Chakrine Jagath Alwis is currently a Non-Executive Director at Ceylinco Insurance Plc.

Dr. Alwis holds a doctorate degree from Middlesex University, conferred in 2013.
He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute since 1985 and a Member of The Insurance Institute of India.
Additionally, he is a Member of The Institute of Directors (United Kingdom), the Science Faculty Board at the University of Peradeniya, and the Management Studies Faculty Board at Sabaragamuwa University.
He is also a Trustee at the Association of Insurers & Reinsurers of Developing Countries since 2012.
