Alastair Wake MacMeikan Thomas

Thomas is a Senior Portfolio Manager & Head of Rates & Treasury Management at Wells Fargo Asset Management (International) Ltd.
(WFAM) for the Credit Europe team.
He is also a member of WFAM Credit Europe's Investment Strategy Committee.
Previously, he held additional responsibilities as a portfolio manager trading various credit sectors.
He has over 30 years in investment industry.
Previously, Mr. Thomas was at Dresdner, where he was a director responsible for sterling interest rate derivatives, gilts, and AAA bond trading.
Earlier, he traded various interest rate derivatives, asset swaps, and total return swaps at Merrill Lynch.
He started his career in 1989 at PricewaterhouseCoopers in auditing.
Mr. Thomas earned a master's degree in engineering sciences from Oxford University.
He is also a chartered accountant.
