Mr. Alexander Sheynkman is a Portfolio Manager & Analyst at Capital Research & Management Co. As an equity analyst, he covers global tobacco companies as well as Russia as a generalist.
Earlier in his career at Capital, he covered PC/enterprise hardware manufacturers and U.S.
homebuilding and REITs.
He has over 22 years of investment experience and has been with Capital Group for 19 years.
Prior to joining Capital, Mr. Sheynkman was a research analyst with Merrill Lynch and a research associate with Sanford Bernstein.
Before that, he was a consultant with Bankers Trust.
He holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Moscow Telecommunication Academia.
