Steciuk, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Cougar Global Investments Ltd.
She concentrates on the economic research and financial modeling that drives portfolio construction.
She began her career at the Bank of Canada in the Financial Markets Department, where she reported on interest rates, currencies, and other aspects of global capital markets that influenced the Bank’s setting of monetary policy.
In the aftermath of the global financial crisis, through operational duties, she helped support the continuous functioning of Canadian financial markets.
Working in the non-profit sector, she gained experience performing financial statement analysis and due diligence for donors across a spectrum of Canadian charities.
She received her BS in Financial Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
She is a CFA Charter holder and a registered Portfolio Manager – Advising Representative with the Ontario Securities Commission.
