Ben Stirling

Mr. Robert B.
Stirling is Managing Director for European Direct Real Estate at Aviva Investors Global Services Ltd.
Mr. Stirling has the overall responsibility for Aviva Investors’ direct real estate activities in Europe (including the UK), with oversight of multiple funds and mandates.
His role involves leadership of the fund management and asset management teams responsible for executing multiple client mandates across the region.
Ben sits on the executive board of Aviva Investors Real Estate (AIRE) as well as the AIRE Global Investment Committee.
Previously at Aviva Investors, Ben led the externally facing European real estate fund management activities and prior to that was responsible for the development of our activities in Continental Europe, which under his leadership grew to comprise multiple funds and segregated accounts.
Prior to joining Aviva Investors Ben had real estate focused roles at Deloitte Corporate Finance, TrizecHahn and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
He has been qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen where he was a manager in the real estate practice.
Mr. Stirling holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oxford University.
He is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
He is also a member of the Policy Committee of the British Property Federation (BPF), and attends the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Commercial Property Forum.
