Mr. Starkweather is an Associate based in Los Angeles.
He joined USRG in 2009 after graduating from Columbia Business School, where while earning his degree he interned with Intermountain Wind, an early-stage wind power development company.
Prior to graduate school, he was an Associate at Centre Partners Management, a New York-based middle-market private equity firm, where he evaluated and executed leveraged buyout transactions in a variety of industries.
Before joining Centre, Mr. Starkweather spent four years with Lehman Brothers, including two years as an Associate in the Merchant Banking Group in New York and two years as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group in Menlo Park, CA.
While in the Merchant Banking Group he reviewed potential buyout investments, held various transaction-related responsibilities and supported the management and sale of select portfolio companies.
While an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group he focused on advisory services for a variety of clients in the Technology industry.
Mr. Starkweather earned an MBA from Columbia University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with BS degrees in Economics and Engineering Science from Vanderbilt University.
