Brian Aaron Zavalkoff

Mr. Brian A.
Zavalkoff, CFA MBA, is a Principal at Chesley, Taft & Associates LLC.
He joined the firm in June 2009.
He has over twenty five years of investment management experience.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Zavalkoff was a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at the U.S.
Trust Company (a division of Bank of America) and its predecessor firms, LaSalle Wealth Management and the Chicago Trust Company.
At the U.S.
Trust Company, he was responsible for managing diversified investment portfolios for private clients, trusts, foundations and businesses.
He also led LaSalle’s Midcap Growth Fund and Separately Managed Account program.
In addition, he was employed as Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Citibank Global Asset Management / Citigroup Asset Management in New York.
At Citibank, he co-managed a $1.25 billion U.S.
All-Cap Equity Fund.
Also, he authored the Company’s quarterly Global Investment Perspective, a strategy report discussing prospects for each of the major global economies and financial markets.
Finally, he was also a member of the Company’s Asset Management Committee.
Mr. Zavalkoff received his Bachelor of Commerce / Faculty Scholar / Graduated with Distinction from McGill University and an M.B.A.
in Finance and Accounting / Graduated with Honors from The University of Chicago.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
