Prior to forming Rampart and Lynx, he served as Co-CIO and Partner of a regional Cleveland based investment management firm with over $1.5 billion in client assets under management.
He worked with high net worth individuals and institutional clients to help diversify and risk manage their portfolio for long-term growth and capital preservation.
Mr. Chait was a co-portfolio manager of The Clarion Fund, a hedge fund focusing on small capitalized stocks.
He was responsible for the short side and hedging the portfolio with derivatives.
He served as CFO, and CEO of a number of national middle companies, one of which, while under his direction, was acquired by General Electric.
Mr. Chait completed a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from the University of South Africa and is a Chartered Accountant (CA)SA.
