Bruce A. Whiteford

Mr. Bruce A.
Whiteford is a Portfolio Manager of Municipal Bonds at Bessemer Investment Management LLC.
He is also a Managing Director.
In this role, he leverages the firm’s best thinking and works collaboratively with a team of highly-experienced analysts and researchers to manage the firm's municipal bond strategy and offering.
He is a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Strategy Committee, the Banking and Loan Committee, and the Employee Advisory Board.
Prior to joining Bessemer, he worked at Chase Manhattan Bank as Vice President and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager in the private bank.
Before that, he worked as a portfolio manager at U.S.
Trust and a credit analyst at Moody’s Investors’ Service.
He has previously served as a FINRA arbitrator and is a member of the Municipal Forum of New York.
Mr. Whiteford earned a B.S.
in Finance from the University of South Carolina.
