Charlie Reid

Charlie Reid Head of Asia Pacific Charlie Reid, Managing Director, is Head of APAC for the Renewable Power Group, and is a founding member of BlackRock Renewable Power and BlackRock Infrastructure having joined the team upon its formation in 2011.
As a Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of APAC, Mr. Reid is responsible for leading investment and portfolio management activities across the region, as well as sourcing, executing and managing renewable infrastructure assets.
Mr. Reid established the Renewable Income platform which now manages over US$2.2bn of capital, and has invested in over 60 wind and solar assets in a range of markets across Europe.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Mr. Reid worked in corporate and energy finance for NTR plc, the Clinton Foundation and Lazard.
Mr. Charlie earned an MA in Modern Languages from the University of Oxford with first class honours.
