Charlie Rexford

Charlie joined Sapphire Ventures as Chief of Staff in 2021.
Previously, Charlie was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley in the New York office.
Specifically, he was a member of the Financial Sponsors Group, focused on M&A, debt, and equity transactions across industries on behalf of the firm’s private equity clients.
He also held coverage responsibility for the direct investing teams of large institutional family offices, sovereign wealth funds, pensions, and other long-term investors.
Prior to business school, Charlie was a consultant at Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm focused on strategic and financial communications.
Charlie earned a bachelor’s degree in government and business from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
