Anderson, CFA, is a Chief Investment Officer & Senior Vice President at Financial Counselors, Inc.
Prior to re-joining Financial Counselors in 2006, Mr. Anderson began his investment career in 1969 with Farmland and joined H.O.
Peet & Company/FCI the first time in 1972 as an analyst.
In 1975, he joined Commerce Trust as vice president of marketing.
In 1979 he moved to UMB Bank and in 1990 became the executive vice president in charge of the entire trust investment division.
From 2000-2006 he was the head of investments at Gold Trust Company.
He re-joined FCI in 2006 as the lead portfolio manager for the Value Equity product.
He is also a member of the Value Equity Investment Committee.
He writes a regular investment newsletter and has hosted his own radio financial talk show on local radio outlets.
Mr. Anderson earned his bachelor's of science degree in economics from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 1969 and his master's degree in finance from Central Missouri State University in 1972.
He is a member and former board member of the Kansas City Society of Financial Analysts and is a member of the CFA Institute.
