Dean Focarile

Mr. Dean Focarile is an Associate at HealthPro BioVentures LLC.
Prior to joining the HealthPro BioVentures, Mr. Focarile worked for Meda Pharmaceuticals after its acquisition of Medpointe Pharmaceuticals, with responsibility for products in the Respiratory, Ophthalmology, Pain, and Insomnia markets on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
Before that, he was the lead respiratory sales representative for GlaxoSmithKline in the Bronx, NY, with a focus on Asthma, COPD, Rhinitis, and Major Depressive Disorder.
His first role in Healthcare was with TeleManager Technologies, a New Jersey-based software developer for interactive pharmacy systems.
He has worked extensively with practitioners on CE and CME events, drug formulary approvals, government agency accounts, and hospital residency programs.
Mr. Focarile attended the University of Michigan as a Biochemistry Major before transferring to New York University, where he graduated with a BA in Economics.
He now attends NYU’s Leonard N.
Stern School of Business, finishing his MBA in Finance and Business Law.
He is very active in the NYU community, serving as a Director of the College of Arts & Science Alumni Board and as the VP of Internal Affairs for the Stern Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Association.
