Mr. Ed C.
Ek is a Research Associate at Los Angeles Capital Mgmt & Equity Research, Inc. He conducts research in areas of risk and portfolio management for the firm's Research department.
He works closely with the Operations, Trading, and Portfolio Management departments to integrate these areas of risk management and portfolio management.
Prior to joining Los Angeles Capital in 2007, Mr. Ek was Chief Investment Officer at Rhumbline Advisors where he was responsible for all aspects of their quantitative investment process.
From 1986 until 1994, he was a senior member of the analytics team at Wilshire Associates, where he was responsible for Atlas, Wilshire's equity management and risk modeling software.
Mr. Ek received his BA from Franklin & Marshall College in 1983.
