Jacobson, CPA, is a President & Chief Executive Officer at Glass Jacobson PA and a Managing Director at Glass Jacobson Investment Advisors LLC.
Prior to working at Glass Jacobson, Ed was an auditor with Peat, Marwick & Mitchell.
He is a member of the American Institute and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
He sits on the board of directors for Kids Chance of Maryland, Inc., and has been honored by Smart CEO Magazine as one of Baltimore’s “Smart CPAs” in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009.
Mr. Jacobson has worked in the fields of public accounting and business consulting since 1977.
He has a wide range of expertise, including small- to mid-sized business valuations; expert testimony; strategic business consulting and planning; and tax research, preparation, and planning.
He is widely considered an expert in his field and has been published multiple times, including in the Baltimore Business Journal (“M&A Deals Only Get Done with Creativity,” February 6, 2009).
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland.
He is a Certified Valuation Analyst, an investment advisor representative and is a licensed life and health insurance agent.
