Ms. Evelyn Tan is Senior Vice President at ST Asset Management Ltd.
She is a Portfolio Manager specialising in G7 and emerging markets instruments.
She is also a member of STAM's Investment Committee.
Prior to joining ST Asset Management Ltd in 2002, she was a Portfolio Manager at OUB Asset Management Ltd ("OUBAM") where she managed segregated clients and fixed income portfolios.
She was also involved in an emerging market sovereign collateralised debt obligation ("CDO") and an investment grade CDO (cash and synthetic issues) for which OUBAM acted as collateral manager & investment advisor.
Ms. Tan began her career with a merchant bank where she provided broking services in Japanese equities and bonds, and managed bond portfolios.
She has worked as a fund manager with the Overseas Union Bank Limited ("OUB") group from 1985 to 1988, the Standard Chartered Group from 1988 to 1994, and Deutsche Bank from 1994 to 2000.
She rejoined the OUB group in 2000.
Ms. Tan received a Bachelor of Arts from National University of Singapore in 1981.
