Cole is Co-Founder & Managing Member at Hutchens Investment Management, Inc and New Leaf Asset Management LLC.
Following his naval service, Mr. Cole spent two years with Gabelli & Company as a client services representative and as a junior analyst in the research department.
Looking to get back to his New Hampshire roots, he worked three years as a research analyst with E.R.
Taylor Investments in Concord, NH.
From 1997-2001 he worked as Director of Research and portfolio manager for Hutchens Investment Management in New London, NH, where he helped to refine their investment models.
He also served as the primary portfolio manager for the firm's mid cap accounts.
Mr. Cole graduated from Dartmouth College in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in economics modified with computer science.
From 1986 to 1991, he was an officer in the U.S.
Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program, culminating his career as a Submarine Warfare Officer, on board the USS New York City, SSN 696, and a Los Angeles Class fast attack submarine.
He earned his CFA designation in 1999, and is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, BSAS, and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
