Frank Schorling

Credit Suisse AG is an investment management firm headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. The firm was founded in 1856 and was acquired by UBS Group AG (SWX: UBSG) from Credit Suisse Group AG in 2023. Credit Suisse manages global and regional portfolios, mutual funds, and other investment vehicles for governments, institutions, corporations and individuals worldwide. They also offer private banking and wealth management, investment banking, and corporate and business support services.

Credit Suisse Asset Management Kapitalanlage GmbH (CSAM-D) is the wholly-owned German asset management arm of Credit Suisse (Deutschland) AG, ultimately owned by Zurich-based Credit Suisse Group (VX: CSGN). Based in Frankfurt, the firm was originally established in 1988 as SKA Investment GmbH. In 1997 they were restructured and they joined CSAM, a firm regrouping all the asset management companies of the group. In 2006 CSAM fully integrated their banking business, which now operates under a single Credit Suisse brand. As a result the brand name Credit Suisse Asset management is no longer in use.
