Grigore Simon

Grigore Simon worked as a Senior Vice President-Exploration at Newmont Corp.
from 2012 to 2018, and as a Vice President-Generative Exploration at Newmont Mining Corporation of Canada Ltd.
from 2004 to 2012.
Prior to that, he worked as a Principal at Shell Plc.
He also worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Bucharest.
Dr. Simon holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Bucharest, graduate and doctorate degrees from the University of Michigan, and MBA degrees from the University of Rochester and Nyenrode Business Universiteit.
