Hans Johannes Franciscus Vrensen

Mr. Hans J.
Vrensen, CFA, is an European Head of Research & Strategy at AEW Europe LLP and AEW UK REIT Plc.
Based in London, he oversees teams in London and Paris.
His responsibilities include advising the investment and asset management teams on macroeconomic and property market dynamics, contributing to the formation of investment strategies and performing primary and secondary property market analysis.
Before joining AEW, Mr. Vrensen acted as an external consultant to CREFC Europe for two years, and was Global Head of Research at DTZ from 2009 to 2015, providing leading research for occupiers and investors while also assisting the group with strategic business planning.
He has also worked for Barclays Capital as Head of European Securitization Research and at Moody’s Investor Services as a Senior Credit Officer.
He received a Masters in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Masters in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst.
