Mr. Stowers, who joined American Century in 1981, oversees the domestic equity teams following the earnings-acceleration investment approach that has been the hallmark of American Century growth portfolios for decades.
He is a member of the company's Executive Committee, co-chairman of its Board of Directors and the son of the company's founder, James E.
Stowers Jr. Mr. Stowers holds a bachelor's of science degree in finance from Arizona State University.
In 2002, he received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Arizona State University College of Business.
