Ms. Stevlingson joins Gartmore in August 2005, now known as NWD Investments, from New York-based Altura Asset Management, LLC, where she was a principal managing a hedge fund that employed small- and mid-cap equities.
Prior to joining Altura, she was vice president/senior portfolio manager at OppenheimerFunds, Inc from 1999 to 2003.
In that capacity, she managed the small-cap Oppenheimer Discovery Fund, which was marketed to both institutional and individual investors.
From 1992 to 1999, she was senior vice president/senior portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley.
During her Morgan Stanley tenure, she was involved in the launch and ongoing management of several funds, including the Morgan Stanley Developing Growth Fund, the Morgan Stanley Developing Growth Annuity Fund and the Morgan Stanley Information Fund.
Ms. Stevlingson also held positions at Bankers Trust Corp., Campbell Advisors—a boutique money management firm, and Merrill Lynch & Co, Inc. She holds a B.A.
from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
