Jean-Philippe Gruvel

Mr. Jean-Philippe Gruvel is Head of Systematic Research at Millennium Global Investments Ltd.
He is responsible for developing the firm’s systematic investment capabilities.
With over 15 years of experience in the management of systematic asset allocation and global macro strategies, Mr. Gruvel brings substantial experience and insight to the research focus of the firm.
He is a member of both the Systematic Strategies Research and Product Management committees.
Prior to joining Millennium Global in 2009, Mr. Gruvel was the Senior Portfolio Manager for the Active Currency Management group at AXA Investment Managers.
Previously he held a similar position in the Global Market Strategies and the Alpha Management groups at Barclays Global Investors.
Mr. Gruvel holds a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School, a post-graduate degree in Geophysics from the IFP School and an undergraduate degree from the Ecole des Mines ParisTech.
