Prior to joining Mellon Capital in 1997, Mr. Tufts was the president of G.T.
Global Investor Services, with responsibility for North American operations.
He was also a member of the worldwide management committee for the asset management division of the Bank in Liechtenstein.
Previously, Mr. Tufts was the controller for Montgomery Securities and the Montgomery Venture Funds.
While there, he was responsible for all financial aspects of the broker/dealer and for establishing and maintaining all operational and financial controls for the venture funds.
Before that, Mr. Tufts worked at Arthur Andersen & Co., where he specialized in the broker/dealer, investment, and banking industries.
Mr. Tufts received a BS from the University of California at Berkeley.
He is also a certified public accountant in the state of California.
