John Harrell

Mr. John R.
Harrell is a Member & Director of Portfolio Strategies at TD Capital Management LLC.
He is also the Chairman of the Investment Committee & a Senior Wealth Advisor at the firm.
He began his financial services career in 2004 as a portfolio analyst at TD Capital and his experience led him to the role of Portfolio Manager in 2006.
Since that time he has been heavily involved in portfolio research and serving clients as a financial advisor.
He also focuses on portfolio implementation, provides investment research, and chairs our Investment Committee.
As Investment Committee Chair, he is Lead Strategist and liaison to our external strategic investment managers.
As a Wealth Advisor, he facilitates the wealth management process for new and high net worth clients, including the portfolio asset allocation.
He became an Equity Member of the firm effective January 1, 2022.
He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Memphis and an MBA from Christian Brothers University.
