Karl Schütte joined Trinity in April 1999 and is a marketing graduate.
He worked in industry for five years before entering the venture capital industry in 1987 with NadCorp, an Irish venture capital firm which was an early investor in technology.
In 1992, he became Chief Executive of the Business Innovation Fund, a specialist seed capital fund.
In April 1999, he resigned from that position to join Trinity.
Karl is currently a member of the European Venture Capital Association High Tech Committee.
He is a past Chairman of the Irish Venture Capital Association and represents Trinity on the Boards of ChangingWorlds and the Irish Venture Capital Association.
He managed the sale of Trinity's investment in Statsol.
