Mr. Kevin R.
Cavanagh is a Managing Director & Head of Real Estate Risk, Research & Finance at Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. He is responsible for property market research, portfolio risk & analysis, performance measurement, risk ratings & valuations, risk management including operational & event risk, and IT oversight.
Mr. Cavanagh began his career with the firm in 1984 in the Corporate Controller's Department.
In1990, he joined Real Estate Investments as an Assistant Portfolio Manager for open-ended and individually managed real estate separate accounts.
His experience also includes pricing and credit review of commercial mortgage transactions, loan administration, and the management of problem commercial mortgages.
In addition, Mr. Cavanagh has been responsible for mortgage and real estate due diligence associated with MetLife's acquisition of other insurance companies.
He received his Bachelor's degree from St. Francis College and an MBA from Pace University.
