Leo de Haan

Dr. Leo de Haan is a Senior Research Economist at De Nederlandsche Bank.
Currently on secondment at the Central Bank of Aruba, as manager of the Research Department.
Current research focuses on financial behaviour of banks, pension funds and insurance companies.
Worked previously at several policy departments, specifically on business cycle analysis and forecasting and on monetary analysis.
He was a consultant in macro-econometric modeling and forecasting on behalf of national banks in several of The Netherlands' IMF-constituency countries (Armenia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Ukraine).
He received his graduate degree from the University of Amsterdam, an MBA from the University of Tilburg, an MBA from the University of Tilburg and a doctorate degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
