M. Paul Kelly

Paul M.
Kelly is the Chief Operating Officer of Blackstone Credit.
Mr. Kelly is involved in the oversight of Blackstone Credit's Finance, Technology, Operations, Group Strategy and Planning & Analysis functions.
Prior to joining Blackstone Credit, then known as GSO Capital Partners, in 2019, Mr. Kelly was a Managing Director at J.P.
Morgan and the Global Head of the Corporate and Investment Bank’s Strategic Market Infrastructure Group.
Over his 19 year tenure at J.P.Morgan, Mr. Kelly held a variety of executive level positions including, CFO of the Global Commodities group, CEO of EcoSecurities and Global Portfolio Manager for the Commodities Principal Investments group.
In addition, Mr. Kelly was Head of North America Strategy and Business Development for the Investment Bank and was an Investment Banker focused on the Telecom, Media and Technology sector.
Prior to J.P.Morgan, Mr. Kelly worked in Sales and Trading at Bear Stearns and Nomura in their respective International Equity Trading divisions.
Mr. Kelly holds a BA in Political Science from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
