Fotowatio SL is a global operator specialized in the complete management of solar assets for the generation of electricity using the sun as the source. Since it was founded in 2006, it has developed and managed numerous large projects based on photovoltaic and thermosolar technologies. Its activities are focused on the development, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of solar plants included in a portfolio of projects that are both technologically and geographically diversified. With current offices in Spain, Italy and Australia, Fotowatio SL had a significant presence in the U.S. and is targeting different new markets such as South Africa, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Middle East, North of Africa and India, amongst others. Fotowatio SLhas fully developed more than 360 Mw and has participated in the development of over 2,750 Mw at different stages. The company currently manages, operates and maintains over 185 Mw and counts with a wide development portfolio of over 750 Mw in different geographical areas. Additionally, Fotowatio SL divested of over 205 Mw including its former U.S. business unit.

Fotowatio Renewable Ventures BV develops and operates solar power plants. The firm engages in the development of more than 350 MW of solar energy. It produces and distributes photovoltaic and thermosolar energy. The company was founded by Rafael Benjumea, José Benjumea and Borja Guinea in 2006 and is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
